Volunteer in the Santa Houses

The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers in the Santa Houses. Make an impact by helping with one of our easy jobs, between 5:45 and 8:15 p.m. on Friday, November 27, as part of the Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony or on any Friday and Saturday from Black Friday to Saturday, December 19,
Be part of one of the Chamber’s most energetic summer events—no golf skills required. Volunteers play a critical role in delivering a smooth, high-quality experience for sponsors, players, and guests.
Opportunities include:
Hole Game Managers – Oversee contests and sponsor activations on designated holes, engage with players, and help track results.
Set-Up Crew – Assist with signage placement, sponsor materials, registration tables, and course preparation prior to the shotgun start.
Tear-Down Crew – Ensure efficient breakdown of signage, tents, and event materials at the conclusion of play.
Greeters & Registration Support – Welcome teams, assist with check-in, distribute player packets, and provide directional guidance.
Floaters – Provide general event support wherever needed throughout the day.
Whether you’re networking, supporting Chamber programming, or simply giving back, volunteering is a great way to be visible, engaged, and part of the action. You don’t have to love golf to make a meaningful impact—just bring a positive attitude and willingness to help.

Rotary Spring Festival 2026, May 2, 2026

The Fairfield Rotary are organizing this first annual spring fundraising event. The event is focused on children.
There will be many games such as a cake walk, dunk tank, train ride, balloon pop, duck pond, bingo, etc.
The food to be served includes corn dogs, walking tacos, funnel cakes, cotton candy, popcorn, lemonade, etc.
There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a raffle for a bicycle and other prizes.
There will be a small fee for all items to raise funds.
Sponsors are being acquired to help defray expenses and donations are being requested.
The funds that are raised will go towards two playgrounds aimed for children ages 2 to 5.
The concepts for the playgrounds are being developed by the park and recreation director and board. The first playground will be placed at OB Nelson Park and the second at Chautauqua Park.
Skills & Requirements
Volunteers are needed during the event to work in the food stands and overseeing the games.
Time Commitment
Minimum 3 hours. The event is scheduled from 11:00 to 4:00. Volunteers are needed from 10:30 to 4:30. We'll use 2 shifts. 1st 3 hour shift from 10:30 to 1:30 and 2nd shift from 1:30 to 4:30.
