Welcome Lindsey Waugh Back as Our New Chamber Administrator
The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that on April 1, 2024, Lindsey Waugh returned as Chamber Administrator. Waugh held this same position from 2012-2017 when she left to become a Stay-at-Home Mother. “It has been such a treat seeing all the many ways the Chamber organization has made progress over the years. At the same time, I have enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces. I am especially looking forward to working with Executive Director, Mendy McAdams. She and the board have been very welcoming and there is no doubt that they share a passion for the Fairfield area.”
“The Chamber is involved in everything going on in town, so it is hard not to fall in love with Fairfield. Starting the same month as the Annual Awards Banquet is a perfect time to reacquaint myself with our thriving business community.” In addition to helping organize the Banquet, some of Waugh’s responsibilities at the Chamber are supporting and interacting with the business community, being involved in 15 annual Chamber events and Chair of 2024 RAGBRAI Volunteer Committee.
Waugh is from Iowa City and graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in International Relations. She has lived in the area since 2012. Waugh enjoys spending time with her three small children, swimming, nature walks, planning parties, decorating for the seasons, thrifting and baking.
