VitalBody Pilates Introduces Specialized Pregnancy Pilates Course to Support Expecting Mothers
VitalBody Pilates & Movement Studio is proud to announce its upcoming Pregnancy Pilates Course, a specialized program designed to support women through every stage of pregnancy with safe, effective, and clinically guided movement.
Led by experienced instructor Jade Davis, who brings over 18 years of expertise and advanced training in Clinical Pilates for pregnancy through the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute, this six-week course focuses on helping expectant mothers stay strong, mobile, and comfortable as their bodies change.
“Pregnancy is a time of incredible transformation,” said Davis. “Our goal is to help women feel confident in their bodies, reduce discomfort, and prepare both physically and mentally for birth and recovery.”
The course is open to individuals at all stages of pregnancy and offers flexibility for participants to enroll in the full six-week series or attend individual sessions, depending on experience level and availability. Each class incorporates gentle yet effective exercises designed to:

Improve posture and reduce strain on the body

Relieve common pregnancy-related aches and pains

Support breathing techniques for labor and delivery

Encourage faster, more balanced postpartum recovery
In addition to Davis’ clinical expertise, select sessions will feature special guest Alea Lobdell, a Doula and Birth Assistant with more than 20 years of experience supporting women through childbirth. Lobdell will provide valuable insights into pregnancy wellness, labor preparation, and creating a smoother birth experience.
Classes are intentionally kept small, with space for just eight participants per session, ensuring personalized guidance and a supportive environment.
“Maintaining a strong, well-conditioned core during pregnancy can make a significant difference,” Davis added. “When done correctly, it can help prevent back and pelvic pain, support daily activity, and ease the recovery process after birth.”
The Pregnancy Pilates Course runs in six-week blocks, with new sessions beginning soon.
