Mullenneaux Named Clinical Supervisor at Optimae
January 25, 2025 (FAIRFIELD) – Optimae Behavioral Health Services, a division of Optimae LifeServices, announced today that it has named Suzanna Mullenneaux, LMHC, clinical supervisor in its southeastern Iowa region.
Mullenneaux brings more than two decades of experience to her position as a therapist for Optimae Behavioral Health Services. She is committed to building and supporting strong community connections, previously providing therapy in school-based settings in Fairfield and Mount Pleasant and has led therapy groups in both communities.
Suzanna currently works with adults and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, grief and loss. She helps customers improve coping skills, problem solve and manage stress effectively.
“I feel passionate about supporting people with respect, curiosity and compassion and working to improve mental health care and overall wellness in the areas I serve,” Mullenneaux said. “I appreciate Optimae’s core values and how they are applied in action to help people and do good things in the world. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Optimae team and am inspired to learn and grow in my new role.”
In her new role as clinical supervisor, Mullenneaux will oversee Optimae Behavioral Health teams based out of Fairfield, Iowa City and Ottumwa.
Mullenneaux will also continue to oversee Optimae Behavioral Health’s training program for new therapists. She serves as the lead supervisor for the growing team of trainee therapists that Optimae is supporting in their professional development and achievement of full licensure status.
“Suzanna is a gifted therapist who is now mentoring a new generation of therapists while leading the temporary licensed colleagues — TLC — program at Optimae,” said Tracy Liptak, behavioral health operations officer at Optimae. “I am grateful for her strong mind and kind heart, which bring so much value to the work she does.”
Mullenneaux earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Norwich University.
