Fairfield Chamber’s Foundation Launches Annual “Tree of Lights” Campaign to Sustain Holiday Traditions

posted on 10/25/24

Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce, through its 501(c)(3) charitable arm, their foundation, is thrilled to announce the launch of the annual “Tree of Lights” campaign. This fundraiser is essential to keeping Fairfield’s cherished holiday traditions on the town square alive and vibrant, and all donations are tax-deductible.

Each year, the “Tree of Lights” campaign brings together community support to fund the holiday decorations that illuminate the square and create a festive, welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike. However, many of the existing decorations have been worn down by the elements, as they were not designed to withstand outdoor conditions. This year, with community support, the Chamber’s Christmas Committee is upcycling some of these items, giving them new life for one more holiday season, but we will need to replace certain decorations entirely by next year to maintain the magic.

Donations to the Tree of Lights campaign directly support these efforts, helping to purchase durable, high-quality decorations that will withstand the winter weather and shine brightly for years to come. Every dollar raised will go towards sustaining and enhancing the holiday tradition Fairfield families have cherished for generations.

How to Contribute:
Donations of all sizes are welcome and tax-deductible through the Fairfield Chamber’s Foundation. Contributions can be made with the insert in the paper, online, by mail, or in person at the Chamber office. Donors have the opportunity to donate as a memorial tribute to a loved one, adding a personal touch to the holiday tradition.

Help us keep the lights shining bright in Fairfield this season and beyond. Your support means so much to our community.
