Chamber Talk Highlights Rotary Club of Fairfield’s Family-Focused Spring Festival
In this episode of Chamber Talk, John Hanks of the Rotary Club of Fairfield shares an exciting preview of the upcoming Rotary Spring Festival—an event designed to bring fun, connection, and community impact together in one place.
Set for May 2 on the downtown square, the festival blends classic carnival-style activities with a meaningful mission: raising funds for new playground equipment at O.B. Nelson Park and Chautauqua Park. With games, food, entertainment, and interactive activities, the event is built with families in mind and aims to make participation both accessible and memorable.
Attendees can expect everything from ring toss and mini basketball to a dunk tank featuring local “celebrities,” along with crowd favorites like funnel cakes, corn dogs, and fresh lemonade. Free activities, community partnerships, and a strong volunteer presence make this a true collaborative effort across Fairfield organizations.
More than just a day of fun, the Rotary Spring Festival is a reflection of what happens when a community comes together with purpose—supporting local parks, engaging families, and creating lasting memories.
