I think we often feel that stress is simply something that is uncomfortable but not necessarily life-threatening. While some stress in life if inevitable, there is a huge difference between negative stress, distress we could call it, and the positive stress of the excitement and mental focus of setting and achieving high goals or challenging ourselves in some other positive way.
