Sign up for the Winter Reading Challenge at Fairfield Public Library! Log into the Beanstack app and track your reading up to 300 minutes.
All participants are eligible for a free book at sign-up, a small prize every time they read 30 minutes, a raffle ticket to enter the final drawing for each 30 minutes read, and another free book upon reaching 300 minutes, which completes the challenge. Tickets for the final drawing are assigned in Beanstack.
The drawing for the final prizes will be held after logging ends at midnight on Friday, January 31. Winners will be notified by phone or email. Mah Jongg

Mah Jongg is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. Players at FPL play an American variation of the game every week at the library. Stop by and see how the game is played and join the group if you want to learn the game. Teaching instruction for new players will take place the first Friday of each month. The library also offers introductory books for check-out.

Mah Jongg is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. Players at FPL play an American variation of the game every week at the library. Stop by and see how the game is played and join the group if you want to learn the game. Fairfield Youth Performing Arts (FYPA) is pleased to announce its Annual Board Meeting and Board Elections, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 7:00 PM. The event will be held at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center, located at 200 North Main Street, Fairfield, Iowa.
We invite all members of the FYPA community, supporters, and the public to attend this important event. The Annual Board Meeting serves as a crucial opportunity to review the accomplishments of the past year, discuss strategic plans for the future, and ensure that FYPA continues to thrive as a vibrant and inclusive community organization.
One of the key highlights of the evening will be the Board Elections. All eligible members(1) of FYPA will have the opportunity to cast their votes and participate in shaping the leadership of our organization. Mah Jongg is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. Players at FPL play an American variation of the game every week at the library. Stop by and see how the game is played and join the group if you want to learn the game. Teaching instruction for new players will take place the first Friday of each month. The library also offers introductory books for check-out.
