A feast for the eyes and ears, Drum Tao’s mesmerizing productions combine thunderous traditional taiko drumming with dazzling staging, theatrical costumes, and dramatic lighting effects. The international troupe of 40 performers has seemingly done it all, having collaborated with the Bolshoi Ballet, staged sold-out productions off-Broadway, appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and at the Olympics, and even recorded for Universal Music. Flute, marimba, and harp are added to the drum ensemble for dramatic effects, and high-octane choreography contributes fresh new energy to this centuries-old Japanese art form. “Extraordinarily talented percussion artists, and they’re seductive, alluring performers” (Chicago Tribune).

One Of The Better Christian Movies I've Come Across
sddavis637 July 2017
I'm not really a huge fan of most "Christian" movies. I say that as a Christian and as a pastor. But for the most part I find them formulaic to the point of boring and usually badly (even horrendously) acted. And usually, the more seriously they try to take themselves the worse they end up being. So I confess that I had very low expectations of "The Shack."
I watched it because my wife wanted to watch it. She had read the book (I've not bothered with it either - for no particular reason) and wanted to see the film adaptation. Well, I watched it with her, and I was pleasantly surprised. All in all, I thought this was a pretty well-done movie and an interesting story.

Golden Magnolia Sanctuary | 200 South Main Street
Join prolific pianist and composer Werner Elmker as he takes us on a delightful inner journey with improvisational, classical and popular piano music.
Over the years, Werner has made a deep impression in Fairfield with his many artistic skills. Increasingly known for his magical photos and videos of Fairfield life and nature, Werner is also able to create magic on the piano with his refined musical touch and improvisational skills. One concertgoer commented, “Your sound has a special quality of silence, no matter how loud or soft you are playing. It is cumulative. The silence gets deeper and deeper, and I notice the whole audience sinks into it together, so that by the end, no one can move or speak. The silence is so tangible, you can cut it with a knife!”
Werner Elmker moved to Iowa in 1985 and has performed extensively for the local community in Fairfield, as well as in other areas of the U.S. and Europe. He holds a doctoral level degree in piano performance from the Royal Danish Music Conservatory. Werner emphasizes the importance of improvisation and being in the moment as the main source of creativity and great music.

IMDb Review
A powerful and timeless love story
This wonderful love story takes place against the backdrop of the California Gold Rush of 1850. The story centers on Angel (Abigail Cowen), who was sold into prostitution as a child. She has survived through hatred and self-loathing, until she meets Michael Hosea (Tom Lewis) and discovers there is no brokenness that love can't heal. The story reflects the redemptive power of unconditional and sacrificial love with characters and circumstances relevant to the contemporary world.

City Present Budget to the Community
The City of Fairfield is honored to announce that the fiscal year 2024-2025 budget public presentation will take place on Tuesday, March 26th, from 8 am to 12 pm at the Arts and Convention Center in the theater. During this event, each Department Head will have a dedicated 15-minute slot to delve into their operations, discuss expenditures, and field questions from the Council. Following these presentations, the Departments will remain present as the floor opens to the audience for inquiries.
The primary objective of this event is to enlighten the community about the intricate workings of the City of Fairfield, provide insight into our future direction as a city, and foster transparency. This marks the inaugural year of such a procedure, and we appreciate your patience as we navigate through a learning curve and strive for continuous improvement in the years ahead. We aim to establish a robust foundation for community engagement, cultivate stronger relationships, and foster trust. While many are aware of what we do and how we do it, our ultimate goal is to communicate effectively why we do it.
I hope you will take time out of your day to join us.

IMDb Review
Make a story of your own
The whole story of a man's life is something large, but this movie managed to be entertaining and comical telling a story by dividing it into many stages so well told it feels like it's a little fairy tale, so many aspects and many temporal lines in 2 hours that feels like just a single hour.
The story itself is touching and beautiful while the time placement (involving the wardrobe used and design of the places as well) totally transports the audience to those years, it's colorful and complements the "adventure vibe"
This is undoubtedly a great movie to watch with the family, so every single member can appreciate each other stories and how they all got intertwined.
