Tarot Readings - Noble House

We will be having Jenny Sammons working her magic every first Sunday of the month.
Here are more details from Jenny.
General Readings:
Try to get clear on what you want to know before the reading. Think of one question regarding your life to focus on for an accurate and clear reading. It could be in any area, i.e. relationships, career, health, family, whatever. Your guides want to help you in every aspect of your life so there is no topic that is off limits. The more specific you are with your question, the better. If you can't think of a question, asking "What is the next step for me towards my growth in love?” seems to yield uplifting results.
Mediumship:
Think about specifically what you want to know about your departed loved one. I will call on your and their spirit guides to have your questions answered.
I use oracle and tarot cards to narrow down on specific answers as I am growing my abilities. I hope to one day not rely on the cards, but for now, they are extremely helpful for accurate readings.
I will probably talk about God during your reading, and I'm referring to whatever God means to you - source energy, your higher self, Goddess, Krishna, Allah, Jah, etc. I just prefer using the name God to keep things simple.
These readings are 100% confidential. I will not share anything we discussed during your reading with anyone. Period.
I do this with a spirit of loving service. I am continually working on myself to become the most loving, humble, and gentle person I am capable of being. The opportunity to give you reading is an opportunity for me to grow in love and my gratitude for you is deep and endless.
Suggested donations for reading are $20 but any donation big or small is greatly appreciated so that I may continue doing this work. You can donate to my Paypal account at jennysprettythings@gmail.com or Venmo to Jenny-Sammons. I happily do this work for free for people in need and on a limited budget

THE POET'S FORGE Date & Time: Every second Saturday from 3-4:30pm
Location: FPL Meeting Room
Audience: Adults
Host: Craig Deininger
The Poet's Forge is a workshop that emphasizes craft—hence "forge" and its connotations with smithing—the actual work we do within and upon the substance of language. This emphasis does not omit the many subtler elements vital to poetry like inspiration, imagination, meaning and so on. Rather it simply holds the techniques of the craft as its primary focus. The workshop is geared to those who are serious about developing their skill in composing poetry and not toward merely having a platform for voicing opinions or having one's work affirmed. That said, the atmosphere will be professional and respectful, attending precisely to the poetry of the participants. Anyone interested in writing more poetically, regardless of experience, is quite welcome provide they are prepared to honor what their poetry has to say as its own autonomous entity, so to speak. Auxiliary content on poetry and poetics will be included, but will not be prepared in advance. Rather, we will let the poetry that is on the table before us at any given moment determine our direction. About Craig Deininger Craig is Assistant Professor of Creative Writing & Literature at Maharishi International University. Before moving to Fairfield, Craig taught at Naropa University, Lees-McRae College, Studio Film School in Los Angeles, and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he earned an MFA in Creative Writing, served as an editor for the Juniper Prize for Poetry, and was Coordinator of the MFA’s Visiting Writers Series. He also earned an MA and PhD in Mythology and Jungian Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in California. His poetry has been published in several literary journals, anthologies, and newspapers, including The Iowa Review, Glyphs, Between, Moab Happenings, and Riverbend. He is a regularly featured writer for the Joseph Campbell Foundation, and his first book of poetry, Leaves from the World Tree, was recently published by Mandorla Books.

"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." — Mark Twain Note: What we mean by "mostly true" and "remembrances" is that the story will be how you remembered it to be, probably "Mostly True." As Mark Twain said, "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." He didn't mean lie or even exaggerate, what he meant was, tell the story as you remember it, don't spend a lot of time and energy trying to find out what actually happened.

The 2023 Greater Jefferson County Fair is being held from Monday, June 19th, through Monday, June 26th.
History
The Greater Jefferson County Fair started by action of the Jefferson County Agricultural Society, started a fair in Fairfield Iowa in the year of 1851. At this time it was decided to make this “Fair” an annual event. The Fair became an Official Fair by action of the committee in 1947.
The years have passed and the Fair has grown into one of the larger 4-H Fairs in the State as well as being designated the “Official Greater Jefferson County Fair”. We are very proud of these facts and work hard to preserve a homey atmosphere for the kids as this IS a 4-H and FFA Fair.
We are now known simply as the Greater Jefferson County Fair and there is very little that is free any more, especially in light of State funding cuts. However, the Free Front Gate Admission Tuesday through Monday (with FREE parking), is probably the least expensive of any Fair in the entire State. We’re kind of proud about that too.

June 19, 2023
Please visit the provided website link for the 2023 Fair schedule.
